Michael Lee Fishburn, 56, Indianapolis, passed away at his home on April 6th of unexpected causes. He was born October 13, 1958. Michael is preceded in death by his Mother, Billie M. Fishburn, and his half-brother Steve Goforth.
Survivors include his Father, Morris R. Fishburn Sr. (wife Chris McNamara), Brothers Ray Fishburn Jr. (wife Tracey Fishburn), Paul Fishburn (wife Joanne Fishburn), and Sister Kathy Fishburn, as well as a large caring extended family.
Visitation will be from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm on Tuesday, April 14, 2015 at Indiana Funeral Care/Harry W. Moore Chapel, 8151 Allisonville Rd., Indianapolis, with funeral service at 1:00 pm. Burial to follow services, at Union Chapel Cemetery.

When I think of Mike, there are two things that stand out in my memory – Mike’s driving skills scared me, and I learned a very long time ago to not get into a vehicle with him behind the wheel. The more important thing is how sweet, gentle and genuine Mike always was around his great-nieces and nephews. There was such a tenderness in the way he talked to them and held them. Mike, your exit from this world was much too premature, but I am so grateful it was a peaceful one. I will see you again one day.
